 About Us

ABOUT KATRINA: I graduated from CVTC in may of 2006 and now work in the Clerk of Courts office in Eau Claire, WI. I love scrapbooking and watching sports and exercising with Josh. Hanging Out With My Family and spending time with Josh.

ABOUT JOSH: Josh is a student at UWEC going to school for IS (computer stuff). He will be graduating in December of 2008. He works part time at Menards right now in the paint department. He loves watching sports, especially the Brewers and the Packers, and of course spending time with me, and his family. We love going to Brewer games!

How We Met

We met when we were 15 and 16 in Biology class in high school. He thought I was crazy and I thought he was hilarious! We became better friends the next semester in computer class, and the next year we were inseparable and were best friends. At the time I had a boyfriend and he had a crush on my friend.......neither of those worked out. Not long after that everyone began to bug us about us "liking each other". We never really thought about it at all. Then people started to make bets about when we would get together. Finally after a couple months I admited I liked him after being tortured by his friends to tell him.........anyway...........Josh's famous line was "It won't ruin our friendship or anything". Until a week after I told him!! Then he finally admitted he liked me too after my embarrassing heart pouring "I like you." But the week of torture of me thinking he didnt like me some how didn't matter anymore. Yep, that's when it all started!

HOW IT HAPPENED: On Sunday night, March 18, (the first night in Vegas) we had planned to get all dressed up and go out to dinner at a really nice resturant. We chose to eat at the Eiffel Tower Resturant at the Paris hotel. It is in the middle of the Eiffel Tower (which is an exact replica of the real one) and it had an amazing window seat view of the Bellagio fountains. The fountains have always been my favorite part of Vegas, it is so beautiful. Anyway, we had an amazing meal.........amazingly expensive too.......ehhem, but anyway, it was amazing. After dinner Josh mentioned that we should do the "Eiffel Tower Experience". You can pay to take an elevator 46 floors to the top of the Eiffel Tower and go outside on top of it. It was fenced in of course. Oh my goodness, the view was incredible. The fountains were so amazing from the top view and the view of the strip was awesome too. There was about 20 other people up there at a time i would say, and it was just silence up there and breathtaking. Well, we were watching the fountains and Josh was trying to find a more open private place. Finally he kind of foun
